You have finished shipping, but you still have to enter the tracking number in Shopify. On days when orders pile up, that extra step can take a surprisingly long time.

“Instant Shipping! for Click Post” is an app that gathers addresses and other details into a file for Click Post, reads tracking numbers from label PDFs, and registers them in Shopify.

The easiest way to judge whether US$8 a month makes your work easier is to run one of your usual shipping workflows during the 10-day free trial. You do not need to start with a complicated cost-benefit calculation.

Choose the One Task That Feels Most Tedious

Copying addresses, correcting file formats, entering tracking numbers by hand, and sending shipping notifications: first, think about where you are spending the most time.

For example, if you can already export addresses in bulk, the part to test is sending the tracking numbers back. Do not try to change everything at once; start by checking whether you can hand this task over to the app.

Even with the app, you still need to pack the parcels and handle payment and label printing on the Click Post side. The key is to separate the input work the app can handle from the shipping work you do in your store.

Thinking through the shipping workflow in the order of order information, label, and parcel makes it easier to separate the input the app handles from the checks you perform in your store.

Test It All the Way Through Your Usual Shipping Workflow

Start by selecting a small number of orders that you are about to ship. Even when testing, avoid marking orders that have already been processed as shipped a second time.

Export addresses in bulk. Select the target orders in the app and export a CSV for Click Post. A CSV is a file that puts addresses and other details into a table. The app formats the data into a supported structure, reducing the need to copy each order one by one.

Create the labels and keep the PDF. Import the file into Click Post, then proceed with payment and label printing. Save the original downloaded PDF as it is.

Send tracking numbers back to Shopify. As part of the shipping workflow, import the PDF from the app’s “Shipping Notification & Tracking Registration” feature. Review the order candidates shown on screen before registering them. Registration updates the order to a shipped status and sends a shipping-notification email, so operate according to the actual shipment status.

When you are following the steps on screen, open the user guide to make the process easier to follow.

Review Just 3 Things Afterward

What to checkWhat to look for in your store
Did input decrease? Were you able to avoid typing addresses or tracking numbers repeatedly?
Was it easy to verify?Could you check the match between labels and orders before proceeding?
Could you use it next time?Would you be able to use it for your next shipment without rereading the guide from the beginning?

If you have time, you can roughly compare how long the manual process took with how long it took using the app. However, first focus on whether the work feels reduced rather than trying to create a perfect record.

If it is hard to judge from a low-volume day alone, use the app on a day when you usually receive more orders during the free-trial period.

If It Does Not Work, You Do Not Have to Give Up

If the PDF will not import, check whether it is the original PDF saved from Click Post. If multiple order candidates appear, make sure the correct order is selected.

If you cannot tell what an error means, send the support team the screen where processing stopped and the message that appeared. Do not register an order before you can verify it, and do not send the same notification repeatedly.

Decide Based on Whether You Still Want It After 10 Days

The Shopify App Store lists the price as US$8 per month with a 10-day free trial. This is the app fee; Click Post postage and the costs of printing and packing are separate. Continuing after the free trial incurs a charge.

If manual entry is reduced and you can continue the shipping process without hesitation, that is a reason to keep using the app. On the other hand, if your current order volume is easy to handle manually, there is no need to force another paid tool into your workflow.

Also check the price and trial terms on the sign-up screen. When you stop using the app, check not only that you no longer use it but also the procedure for ending the subscription.
